RoS Category Targets (Week 21)

Below are tables to use for owners to help determine what they’ll need per week and RoS to move up to certain point levels in their individual leagues and for overall contests.

For a full rundown of how to best use these tables, read my post from last week here.

The quick version: The far left columns on each table are the current percentiles for each of the 5×5 roto scoring categories. Percentiles were pulled as of the end of Week 20 (Sun, 8/11) from the NFBC Main Event.

Each column to the right is what an owner will need to achieve rest of the season in that category to rise or fall to a given percentile level. For example, in the Runs table below, if an owner is currently in the 60th percentile (742 runs / 37 per week) and is attempting to reach the 80th percentile before the end of the season, they would need roughly 295 runs RoS (42 per week) to hit what is currently projected to be the end-of-season 80th percentile for runs.

This can be transferable to individual leagues as well as overall competitions. For my leagues, I note what categories I can gain points, see what percentiles the owners I am trying to reach are currently in, then use these charts to help set targets for the rest of the season. I then check my team’s projected RoS stats to see if these goals are realistic.

Charts are also all posted here in a Google Sheet.
